After years of informally exchanging clothing amongst friends, we decided it was time to do something more. Our search for a consignment store that catered to young, trend-conscious professionals with budget and time constraints proved difficult – maybe even impossible. And so, HUSH was born.
the concept
The good parts of retail shopping (clean, friendly atmosphere, evening and weekend hours, online shopping) combined with the good parts of consignment shopping (finding great clothing at a fraction of high retail prices, buying labels not yet available in Canada, finding a new home for those impulse buys that really shouldn’t have been…)
the reality
A funky little boutique in Ottawa's Wellington Village. It quickly became obvious that Ottawa needed an updated version of the typical consignment boutique. We have received tremendously positive response to our inventory, our space, our services, and our vision. The hardest part is to be patient and not to implement all of our ideas at the same time (personal shopping, private shopping parties, on-line shopping…) Visit us regularly.
